The following networks will be affected:

http://yearn.fi

http://keep3r.network

http://multichain.xyz

http://chainlist.org

http://solidly.exchange

http://bribe.crv.finance

Yearn.fi will be one of the DeFi networks affected

What does this mean?

This doesn’t mean that the protocols are shutting down. This simply means that Anton will no longer be providing support for these networks. Alternatives are already springing up, however Anton is considered a major contributor to these networks and his loss could split the network communities and begin a fight to fill the void caused by his departure.

Anton goes on to say that his departure is a calculated decision, not an emotional one, however his leaving has sparked outrage among many investors of these networks.

What alternatives are there?

While these networks are unlikely to be closing completely, many people have been risking off their investments into the affected projects and looking for alternatives. Enter Rubyswap

Rubyswap Twitter @RubyswapFinance

Rubyswap — https://rubyswap.finance — is a Decentralized Finance protocol on the EGEM chain and has the backing and support of both the Rubysway team and the EGEM community. If you are looking for an alterative DeFi protocol, Rubyswap comes highly recommended by EGEM users.

When will support for these protocols end?

Support for these protocols is slated to end on 3rd of April 2022. Anton has made the source code available for those who wish to continue support for these protocols themselves.
